”True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.”– Aadil Palkhivala

Module 1
Nervous System Mastery
For Yoga Teachers

10 Hours
Develop the confidence and literacy to teach with a deep understanding of the nervous system. This module bridges modern neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and applied yoga methodology so you can skillfully recognize dysregulation, support resilience, and sequence with intention.

You will learn how to identify stress responses in real time, apply breath and movement for specific nervous system states, and create environments that foster psychological safety. This training equips you to support students navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, and trauma with professionalism and clarity.

This is foundational knowledge for teachers ready to move beyond intuition into informed, responsible leadership.
Certification Requirements
To receive certification for this module, participants must:
-
Attend and complete all 10 training hours (live or approved replay format).
-
Demonstrate understanding of core nervous system concepts, including stress physiology, regulation states, and applied breath and movement strategies.
-
Submit a written reflection (500–800 words) outlining:
-
How they recognize nervous system dysregulation in students
-
How they would respond using breath, pacing, and sequencing
-
-
Design and submit one 60-minute class outline that includes:
-
Clear nervous system intention (regulation, activation, integration)
-
Breath-to-movement strategy
-
Environmental considerations for psychological safety
-
-
Pass a short assessment quiz (minimum 80%) covering:
-
Stress responses
-
Regulation tools
-
Professional scope of practice
-
Certification confirms competency in foundational nervous system literacy for yoga teaching.
Module 2
Regulate & Lead: Sequencing for Safety and Agency & The Science of Reading The Room

10 Hours
Learn how to design classes that regulate, empower, and build capacity rather than overwhelm. This module focuses on reading group dynamics, adapting in real time, and sequencing through a nervous system lens.

You will refine your ability to observe breath patterns, energy shifts, emotional cues, and pacing needs while developing the skill to respond with precision. Emphasis is placed on creating agency within students, fostering autonomy over dependency, and cultivating true safety within group containers.

This is advanced sequencing rooted in awareness, not choreography.
