Yin & Yoga Nidra
A 75-HOUR TEACHER TRAINING
The Ultimate Healing Modalities

Yin Yoga is an all-levels, very slow-paced style of yoga which incorporates the principles of the meridian systems and five elements theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine. Yoga Nidra is "sleep yoga". Western science has shown that a 35-45 minute Nidra practice is equivalent to 4-6 hours of deep sleep!

Our Yin Yoga Training adheres to the 4 Tattvas (principles) of Yin Yoga, which are:
1. Longer held postures, anywhere from one - twenty minutes
2. Edge: Postures are held at one's edge (the deepest point of stretch)
3. Stillness: Postures are held in stillness
4. Release: Due to the depth in which the postures are held, one must release very slowly & mindfully.
Extensive Training In Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory
This training offers an extensive emersion into the methodology of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Meridian System & 5 Element Theory, which addresses long-held "stuckness" within our physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies. Yin Yoga is one of my favorite practices as it has a noticeable healing effect after just one class. Hali Love

Guided Journaling
-
You’re given intentional prompts or reflective questions (often themed around the class, element, or emotion) to explore your inner landscape.
-
This helps process experiences from the mat, deepen self-awareness, and connect thoughts, emotions, and patterns.
Example prompt:
“What emotions arise when I meet stillness?”
“Where in my body do I hold tension when I feel overwhelmed?”
Somatic Self-Inquiry
-
“Somatic” means relating to the body, especially as experienced from within.
-
This practice invites you to tune in to your body’s sensations, postural habits, and emotional responses during or after movement or meditation.
-
You might be guided to feel into the breath, scan for areas of tightness or openness, or notice what emotions are stored in different areas (e.g., hips, chest).
Why it matters:
Together, these practices support embodied healing—moving beyond the intellectual understanding of emotions and thoughts into felt experience. This is especially powerful in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, where the body is a doorway to deeper layers of awareness and integration.
