Personal Development | Intentional Journalling

Updated: Jun 24

Intentional Journalling is an important part of personal development. Journalling can be used as an effective way to uncover limiting thought patterns and unwanted behavioural results. It is no secret that times are tough right now, within the world and within interpersonal relationships. As a Subconscious Restructuring Counsellor, I have had many clients going through struggles and I can say that Journalling is a tool I use for all of them. It is also one of the main tools we use at The Integrative Health Coach Institute within our Certified Wellness Coach Programs. Some people say that they don't like to journal because they don't know what to journal about. So here are some helpful questions that you can use to begin your Intentional Journalling Process:

7 Questions To Begin Your Intentional Journalling

  1. What are the most repetitive negative thoughts that you have about yourself?

  2. What behaviours do these thoughts produce?

  3. What are the most repetitive negative thoughts that you have about others?

  4. What behaviours do these thoughts produce?

  5. Which behaviours are no longer acceptable to you?

  6. Which thought is that unacceptable behaviour linked to?

  7. What is a new thought that you can replace this thought with?

These 7 Questions are from my personal practice. I used them as a check in to monitor my progress! If you would like more personal development tips, please feel free to visit my website at www.hali-love.com. Much Love: Hali
